The magic they used was all randomly generated by the game. I've never played with so much magic on one side - it's awesome if you have it, scary if you don't.
Magic can be horrendously effective when it works. You are lucky Stygustan did not summon more than one major demon. You could have had a battlefield controlled by a demon instead of by one of the nations.
Stygustan national morale collapses versus Treyine and the once mighty empire surrenders. Stygustan morale holds against Mirish but their morale goes down by one point. Stygustan morale holds against Mangu but their morale goes down by one point.
Rally round the King (RrtK) and Warrior Heroes: Armies and Adventures (WHAA) are rules produced by TwoHourWargames for massed battles and skirmishing respectively. RrtK is a reimplementation of Warrior Heroes, which we used before RrtK came out. This blog has been set up to track my progress in playing these rules as part of a campaign. It is my intention, as part of my desire to play more games, to write up my games played using these rules on this blog and to record how the campaign progresses.
The RrtK campaign began in the Summer of 986 and will continue until the participants get bored and wander off. The WHAA campaign began with January 986 but has foundered since.
Excellent repor; all very clear. What program did you use?
ReplyDeletePower Point. I used Junior General Top Down figures.

Great report. Sounds like a tough fight for Mirish for a change.
ReplyDeleteYep, Pereira almost choked on his Nectarine when the Major Demon appeared. The Hero was worth his RR this time!
DeleteAnd it didn't help that the Stygustan archers and infantry kept rolling snake eyes for their In Melee morale tests.
DeleteGreat report, and here I thought I was gonna get mine out first this time. Gotta love Stygustan summoning the Demon. I'm glad they made a fight of it.

Stygustan will to fight not quite eradicated yet.
