Sorry I'm late, here it is.
Hopefully I caught all the spelling mistakes and the worst of the grammatical errors. Altengard was quite the juggernaut and the terrain really favored them. In the after battle pursuit Tereken lost 2 levies and the Mounted Huscarls. Magic wasn't much of factor and the cannon caused hits, but failed to stop the cavalry. The heroes were on opposite sides of the line and so didn't see each other. Aelberht played more of a role. Altengard had too many units for Manfred to really get stuck in, or Tereken had too few for him to get at.
I'll be quicker with the next one. (Famous last words!)

Brilliant battle and like the format.
ReplyDeleteThanks Ed, I always get worried that I've lost something in the process.
DeleteVery easy to read and follow. I almost believed that Altengard was going to crumble before the knights get into action.
ReplyDeleteThanks Cedric, Tereken just beat up on the only exposed unit they could get their hands on. The Archers with 2 figures were skirmishers and just couldn't hold up to a cavalry charge. What I didn't point out in the report is that the cavalry was effectively done for the game after running them off. It didn't help that Altengard was defending with a 2:1 odds advantage.
DeleteGreat report, Sean. I really like how you present it.
ReplyDeleteSo, Altengard drives off the Tereken invaders, who decide that discretion is the better part of valour and immediately sue for peace. The peace will last for 3 years.
Honestly the best outcome for Tereken. I need to get some real foot missle.
DeleteBrilliant! Great ideas and presentations, love this creative and dynamic work Sean!
